Twenty-six years of fixing things in St. Albert

Family run, home-based, user friendly since 2000. The person who answers the phone is the person who fixes your computer.

User friendly was the idea from day one

Fatal Exceptions Inc. opened in 2000 with a simple promise: fix the computer properly, explain it in plain English, and charge what was quoted. Twenty-six years later that is still the whole business.

We work from a home-based shop in St. Albert, which is why drop-offs are by appointment. It also means lower overhead, which is why a free estimate within 24 hours and same or next day turnaround are normal here, not a special offer.

Along the way the work grew: business networks and servers for local companies, websites they can run themselves, and our own apps on the App Store. Same shop, same phone number, same promise.

Why we still do it this way

  • Honest advice, at no charge
  • Plain English and a written estimate first
  • Free estimate within 24 hours
  • Your data comes first
  • Homes and businesses alike
  • St. Albert since 2000, same number since the start

I’m Colin Moser, and I’ve run Fatal Exceptions Inc. since 2000. The idea then was simple and it hasn’t changed: do the job properly, explain it plainly, and stand behind it.

When you call, you reach me, and I’m usually the one at the bench. That is a choice, not a limit. Nothing gets lost between a salesperson, a dispatcher and a technician, and you get a straight answer from the person who actually looked at your machine. When a job calls for more hands, I bring in people I trust.

A computer problem is a bad day. My job is to make it a short one. Thank you for trusting us with yours.
