Won’t turn on or charge
Dead power supplies, charging ports, batteries and boards diagnosed properly, not guessed at.

Open Monday to Friday 8 AM to 6 PM, Saturday 10 AM to 5 PM

Won’t turn on, won’t charge, runs hot or slow: Windows laptops and MacBooks, tested on the bench with a free estimate and usually back the same or next day.
A laptop that fails is usually one part, not the whole machine: a battery, a charging port, a drive, a fan full of dust. The free hardware test finds which, and the estimate is a firm number for that part and that job, before anything is done.
Drop-offs are by appointment at our home-based shop in St. Albert. Most repairs are back the same or next day; a part that must be ordered adds a few days, and we tell you up front. If the honest answer is that the laptop is not worth fixing, you hear that too, along with help choosing the next one and moving everything over.
Businesses: a batch of laptops dropped off together comes back tested and ready, faster than a technician working at your desks.
Dead power supplies, charging ports, batteries and boards diagnosed properly, not guessed at.
Dust, failing drives and full disks are the usual culprits. A solid-state drive makes an older laptop feel new.
Keys that stick or stopped working, trackpads that jump, hinges that loosened: fixed or replaced where parts allow.
Failing hard drives caught early, data moved to a new drive, or recovered when it is already too late for the old one.
Clean installs with your files, printer, email and settings put back, and the trial junk left out.
Office laptops serviced in a batch, tested on the bench, returned ready for staff.
Yes: batteries, drives, slow and will-not-boot problems, clean installs and data. If a repair is only sensible at Apple, we say so and send you there.
The estimate comes within 24 hours. Most repairs are back the same or next day once you approve; parts that must be ordered can add a few days.
Often, yes. A new drive and a clean install can give a six-year-old laptop years more life for a fraction of a new one. If it is not worth it, we tell you plainly.
The hardware test and estimate are free. You get a firm number before any work, and you pay when it is done, only for the work you approved.
Call, or book a time that suits you.
